Artist's Description
In this undersea adventure a little mermaid, short on funds, has decided to take out a loan. She clutches the agreement in her hand, watching the lone shark appear. Here is the story!
The mermaid anxiously waits,
Bathed in aqua light,
When suddenly she sees,
The loan shark, now in sight.

So be careful little mermaid,
Before you sign in green,
Know that fella you're dealing with,
He's wicked and quite mean!
About Gail Butler
Self-taught, Gail's artistic interests and abilities have been part of who she is her entire life. Her portraits are renditions which capture the character of her chosen subjects, as she 'casts' them in roles which give a glimpse into their 'personality'. Her 'Wordplay' series showcases her love of a good pun, and her animal...
