Gail Butler Gail's art is a colorful, whimsical, often comical, sometimes thought provoking representation of how she sees the world around her. There is a spark of magic in her creations as her love for all life is apparent.
Her creations often have a poetic partner as she puts into words what she envisions in paint.
Gail grew up in the beautiful foothills of Virginia. A walk in the woods, playing in the creek and a mountain view were no further than her back yard. Her family owned a a pet shop which began as a small business in the basement of their home. This gave Gail a childhood full of interaction with the wonderful creatures we share the planet with.
Gail has been a professional photographer and prolific artist for 25 years. She is an active member of the local art community, and exhibits on a regular basis at several venues in the Richmond/Chesterfield area.
